About a month or so ago, I was deluged with posts about the benefit of being outdoors. This won’t come as a surprise for most of us living here in the Flathead valley- after all it is one of the biggest draws to this side of the state.  It is one of those things that is so simple that it is often overlooked as a health  benefit.  We know that it is one of the best things for us, even if we don’t think about it.

It is important to get outside for a breath of fresh air.  It helps boost the body’s oxygen levels.  When we spend too much time in an enclosed area, the oxygen levels get lower.  I don’t need to tell anyone that oxygen is vital to life.  I could get into the biochemistry, but the bottom line is that no one survives without it.

I know that there is always a concern about pollution, but here in our valley, there is an abundance of fresh clean air.  Go out- breathe it in.
